How to delete your data from LearnByAi
You can delete individual documents at any time from within the app. For full account deletion, or to remove data collected through our WhatsApp integration, this page explains exactly what gets deleted and how to request it.

Scope
What a deletion request covers
A full data deletion request removes all of the following from our systems. You can also delete individual documents without triggering a full removal.
Uploaded documents
The files you uploaded for analysis, removed from Cloudinary file storage.
Document embeddings
The vector embeddings generated from your documents, deleted from the Qdrant index.
Chat history
The questions you asked and the answers generated, removed from the database.
Account records
Your account credentials, session metadata, and usage records, removed from Supabase.
WhatsApp data
Your phone number, message history, and any documents uploaded through the WhatsApp interface.
Wallet records
Balance records and transaction history. Note: payment processor records are held by our third-party provider and governed by their own retention policy.
How to Delete
Two ways to remove your data
Choose the method that fits your situation.
From within the app
Delete individual documents
In your document library, select the document you want to remove and click Delete. This immediately removes the file, its vector embeddings, and its chat history. No email required.

By email request
Full account or WhatsApp deletion
Email security@learnbyai.app with your account email or WhatsApp number. We may ask you to verify the request from the same address or number before processing it.

What happens after you request deletion
Once we confirm your request, a cascading removal runs across every system that holds your data.
Files removed
Documents deleted from Cloudinary
Vectors wiped
Embeddings deleted from Qdrant
Records cleared
Rows removed from Supabase
Session flushed
Logs and metadata purged
Most deletions complete immediately. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before those backups are cycled out. After 30 days, your data is permanently gone from every system we operate.
WhatsApp Integration
Data collected through our WhatsApp interface
LearnByAi offers a WhatsApp interface built on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta's Platform Policy requires every app built on its platform to provide a clear data deletion process for users of that integration. This section applies to anyone who has messaged our WhatsApp number, whether or not they linked it to a LearnByAi account.
Your WhatsApp phone number
Used solely to route your conversation and, if you linked an account, to associate your WhatsApp session with your LearnByAi account.
Message and document history
The messages you sent and any documents you uploaded through WhatsApp for analysis, processed the same way as documents uploaded via the web app.
Account link status
If you used the /link flow to connect your WhatsApp number to a LearnByAi account, we store that link so your WhatsApp sessions can access your account's plan and history.
Scope of this policy
This process removes data held within LearnByAi's own systems. It does not delete, disable, or affect your actual WhatsApp account, phone number, or any Meta account. To manage your WhatsApp account itself, use WhatsApp's in-app settings or Meta's Help Center. This page exists to satisfy Meta's Platform Terms for apps built on the WhatsApp Business Platform.
