- You own your content: LearnByAi claims no rights over the documents you upload or the conversations you have. You remain the sole owner of your content.
- AI output is not professional advice: Answers generated by LearnByAi are based on your uploaded documents. They are not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.
- No subscription required: LearnByAi uses a pay-as-you-go wallet model. There are no recurring charges. You add funds and spend them only when you use a paid action.
- Session responsibility: If you use LearnByAi without an account, your workspace is tied to a browser token. Clearing your browser data permanently severs access to that session.
- Upload only content you have rights to: You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any document you share with the platform.
- Terms may change: We reserve the right to update these terms. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Understanding anonymous-first sessions
LearnByAi is designed to work without requiring an account. This convenience comes with a responsibility you should understand before uploading important documents.
Anonymous sessions
Your workspace is linked to a browser-generated session token (anonymous_id) stored in your browser's local storage. If you clear your browser data, that token is removed and your previous documents and chat history become inaccessible. The platform does not keep a backup link to reconnect you to a cleared session.
Document deletion
If you delete a document, all underlying data is removed across file storage, the vector index, and the database. This action cannot be undone. Copies in system backups, where they exist, are cycled out as described in our Privacy Policy.
Signed-in accounts
If you create an account, your documents and history are tied to your account credentials rather than a browser token. Your data persists until you delete it or close the account.
What you agree not to do
To keep the platform stable and fair for all users, you agree not to:
- Deploy automated scrapers, continuous scripts, or programmatic requests designed to overwhelm our infrastructure.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer our document parsing mechanics or inject malicious content into text-extraction workflows.
- Upload documents you do not have the right to process, including documents containing other people's personal data without their consent.
- Use the platform to generate outputs that constitute professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise) for others, without appropriate disclaimers.
- Exceed tier usage limits in a way that degrades service for other users.
Your content and our platform

LearnByAi claims no proprietary rights over the documents, text, or conversations you upload or create. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you share with the platform.
Our platform
All interfaces, application logic, design assets, branding, and system configurations are the exclusive property of LearnByAi and may not be reproduced or redistributed without written permission.
What AI-generated answers are and aren't
LearnByAi uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation to answer questions based on the content of your uploaded documents. The answers are only as accurate as the source material.

How the pay-as-you-go wallet works
There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. You add funds to your wallet and they are deducted only when you use a paid action.
Wallet top-ups
Funds added to your wallet do not expire. Balances are deducted only when you use a metered action, such as sending a message or uploading beyond your free allowance.
Manual top-up review
Manual top-ups, where offered, are reviewed and credited manually. Processing time may vary. Card payments are processed by Polar and credited automatically after a successful payment.
Pricing adjustments
Free-tier allowances and per-action pricing may be updated at any time. Changes take effect from the date they are published on the pricing page.
When you can get your money back
We want you to feel confident adding funds to your wallet. Here is exactly when and how refunds work.
Full refund: unused balance
If you have not used any part of a wallet top-up, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
Partial refund: partially used balance
If part of a top-up has already been spent on metered actions, only the remaining unused balance is eligible for a refund. Charges for actions already delivered are final.
How to request
Email support@learnbyai.app with your account details and the transaction reference. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.
How we handle changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. When we do, we update the "Last reviewed" date on this page. Continued use of the platform after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If a change is significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify signed-in users by email.

Can I use LearnByAi without creating an account?
Yes. You can upload documents and chat with them immediately without creating an account. A session token in your browser keeps your workspace private. Creating an account gives you persistent history, higher usage limits, and access to the wallet system.
What happens if I upload a document I don't have rights to?
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any document you share with LearnByAi. Uploading documents that contain other people's personal data without their consent may violate privacy laws in your jurisdiction. LearnByAi does not review uploaded content for rights compliance.
Can LearnByAi provide legal, medical, or financial advice?
No. LearnByAi extracts and explains content from documents you upload. It does not provide professional advice of any kind. For legal, medical, financial, or other professional decisions, consult a qualified practitioner.
Do my wallet funds expire?
No. Funds added to your LearnByAi wallet do not expire and are only deducted when you trigger a metered action. There are no monthly or annual fees.
What is the refund window?
You can request a full refund on any unused wallet balance within 14 days of purchase. If part of the balance has been spent, only the remaining unused amount is eligible. Email support@learnbyai.app with your transaction reference to start the process.
Can LearnByAi suspend or terminate my access?
Yes. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for violations of these terms, including abusive usage patterns, attempts to exploit the platform, or uploading content that violates applicable laws.
What happens to my data if I stop using the platform?
Documents tied to an anonymous session are cleaned up automatically when the session goes idle. Documents tied to a signed-in account persist until you delete them or request account deletion. See our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion Policy for the full process.
