What is LearnByAi?

LearnByAi is an AI document intelligence platform. Upload a PDF, Word document, or text file and chat with it in plain language, ask questions, request summaries, or extract specific information using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) instead of generic AI guesswork.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can upload a document and start chatting right away with no sign-up. Anonymous sessions get 10 logical pages per day and 10 messages per day. Creating a free account raises that to 30 logical pages per day and 15 messages per day, and saves your documents and chat history between visits.

Is there a mobile app?

LearnByAi is a responsive web app, so it works directly in any mobile or desktop browser without installing anything.

What languages does LearnByAi support?

You can upload documents written in many languages and choose the response language in the chat, up to 50 languages. Accuracy can vary by language and by scan quality, so check important details against the original.

Can I use LearnByAi on WhatsApp?

Yes. Send a PDF, Word document, spreadsheet, or text file directly to LearnByAi on WhatsApp and ask questions in the chat, no app to download, no account required to start.

Documents & File Types

What file types can I upload?

PDF, DOCX, XLSX, and TXT files, plus JPG, PNG, and TIFF images. Scanned PDFs and photos of documents are processed automatically with OCR so you can search and ask questions about their text.

Is there a file size limit?

Yes. File size limits apply and can vary by plan. If a file is too large, try splitting it into smaller parts.

Can I chat with more than one document at the same time?

Yes. You can add several documents to one chat, and the AI searches across them when it answers, which is useful for comparing contracts, reports, or research papers. The documents in a chat must be the same type, for example all contracts or all general documents. Check answers against each source document.

Can I delete a document after uploading it?

Yes, at any time. Deleting a document from the interface removes the file and its associated AI index.

What happens to my document if I never created an account?

Anonymous sessions are linked to a browser token rather than a login. Your document stays accessible as long as that session persists; clearing your browser data ends the session link. Creating a free account avoids this by saving your documents permanently to your login.

What are LearnByAi's specialized document modes?

Each mode applies AI prompts tuned to that domain: general document chat, legal document review, medical document analysis, financial document analysis, HR document analysis, construction document analysis, and study/academic assistance.

Can LearnByAi replace a lawyer, doctor, or financial advisor?

No. LearnByAi extracts and explains what's written in your documents, it does not provide legal, medical, or financial advice. For decisions with legal, health, or financial consequences, always consult a qualified professional.

Pricing & Billing

How does LearnByAi's pricing work?

There's no subscription. Free tier: 10 logical pages and 10 messages per day with no account, or 30 logical pages and 15 messages per day with a free account. To go beyond the free allowance, top up a wallet and pay only for what you use: text messages cost $0.02, voice messages $0.05, document comparisons $0.05, and tool actions like export or risk scoring $0.02 each.

What payment methods are accepted for wallet top-ups?

Cards, processed securely by Polar. Other payment options may appear at checkout depending on your region.

Do wallet funds expire?

No. Wallet funds never expire, top up once and use the balance whenever you need it.

Can I get a refund on my wallet balance?

Yes. Unused wallet balance can be refunded when you request it within 14 days of a top-up. See our Refund Policy for the details, or contact support@learnbyai.app for any billing question.

Privacy & Security

Is my data shared with other users?

No. Every session is isolated: your documents and chat history are not visible to other users, and every lookup is filtered by your session or account.

Is my document content used to train AI models?

Your content is sent to OpenAI's API only to generate your answers. Training and data-handling terms are described in our Privacy Policy and Security page.

Where are my documents stored?

Documents are stored in isolated cloud storage buckets, scoped strictly to your session, with access controls preventing any cross-session retrieval.

Can I permanently delete my data?

Yes. Deleting a document in the app removes the file, its AI index, and related records. Where backup copies exist, deleted data may remain in them for a limited period until they are cycled out. For full account deletion requests, contact support@learnbyai.app.
